I recently found these pretty silver vintage pieces, at a local thrift shop. In an odd way, they seemed to relate to each other, & I knew right away that I wanted to create an asymmetrical pair of earrings with these two beautiful pieces. Both the art nouveau style winged fairy and the Chinese calligraphy symbol, have lovely movement and a whimsical feel, and I felt they needed to be together. Accented with tiny matte, blue green chrysocolla stones, and sparkling, clear Swarovski crystals, these pretty earrings will definitely get attention.
- sterling silver art nouveau style fairy, marked .925
- Chinese symbol, unmarked, but I believe is sterling silver
- chrysocolla stones
- sterling silver links, filigree bead caps, wire & ear wires
- asymmetrical style and length: fairy earring at 78mm, symbol earring at 68mm
- one pair only
I am unsure what the meaning is of the Chinese symbol, but would be thrilled if anyone had some information on this.
