Faded Queen Necklace

 Created for those who see the beauty that time leaves behind. The faded details, worn surfaces and the little perfect imperfections of a life already lived. Not erased by time. Simply softened by it.

More than a century of wear has transformed this old British penny into something almost ghostlike. The young Queen Victoria, who once appeared crisply across its surface now remains as a faint silhouette, a portrait slowly worn away by countless hands and years of use.

I chose to leave the coin exactly as I found it. Because its fading... is its beauty.

Suspended beneath a crystal connector that I’ve aged by hand and finished with stainless steel chain, The Faded Queen necklace, brings together history, imperfection and an understanding of how aging can be a beautiful process.
