Held Dear Necklace

Some treasures stay with us not because of what they are, but because of what they remind us of.

Created to feel like a small collection of cherished mementos, this one of a kind necklace begins with one of my own aged copper pieces, hand stamped with a tiny love heart.

From it, I have suspended a gathering of little treasures. An imperfectly perfect antique solid brass key, beautifully worn from time, a vintage LOVE charm salvaged from an old bracelet, an artisan crafted pewter heart, and a sparkling rhinestone tassel that was once part of an earring. Each little find has had a life of its own, now finds a place in this story I have created for them. 

Together, they feel like the contents of an old jewellery box, small pieces saved for reasons long forgotten, yet somehow still carrying the warmth of another time.

Suspended from 18 inches of antiqued silver tone chain, this necklace has that lovely gathered over years feeling.
