This piece was created for those drawn to curious old things, worn and weathered, some with mysterious unanswered stories.
When I found this antique sterling silver pocket watch chain, I knew at once it would become the perfect piece to hold some intriguing charms. It has been reimagined into a one of a kind necklace, bringing together a small collection of pieces found across different times and places, while still honouring its Edwardian roots.
A mystery antique metal number tag, wonderfully worn and weathered from age, gets a little new life with the addition of a sparkling soldered crystal. Feeling right at home, a brass and steel antique pocket watch key hangs alongside it, and is joined by a dotted pewter dangle that gives the assemblage movement and is the perfect finishing touch.
Old and new, polished and imperfect, useful objects and forgotten fragments. All gathered together to become something entirely new.
